Monthly Highlights

Are you sick of people saying 'Wow, hello August!' yet? I'm not, I'm ecstatic. I love seeing the summer months whizz by! Before you know it, September/October/November will be here and I'm so thrilled! July was a month of lots of fun, laughter and great personal challenges really. Some I'm not quite ready to chat about here. But I'm doing alright really. Looking forward to this next month!

I thought I'd sum up July in all it's glory with some gorgeous lil highlights.

Clothing-
YES. Oh my god. That dress, that one up there. Cute eh? Wanna know how much this costs? £5. YES £5. It is the cutest, sweetest, pinkest, most JEMMA-like dress I've seen in ages, and it's an absolute bargain! You can find it here at Everything5Pounds.com - pop over and check it out! I also got some glittery pumps for the ultimate princessy feels, and the cutest letterman style jacket! FYI I've been teaming this dress with a plain white tee, and converse and it looks SUPER cute. I'll definitely do an outfit post soon!

Fun things-
I've had a really fun month in terms of cramming lots of activities in with Gary and friends, which is unusual for me. Not that I'm usually unsocial, I'm just nearly always too busy! However July seen me getting up to lots. Whether it was inviting over bloggers for drinks (HEY JIV), going out for nice meals with Gary, seeing old friends and getting insanely drunk, OR going with a bunch of friends to Breakout Liverpool.

What's Breakout?
Omg guys, SO FUN. It's one of those escape room challenges, where a group of you (between 2-5) get put in a room full of clues, riddles, codes and mystery; and you all have to decipher everything to get yourselves out. It's so much fun! At Breakout, we got 60 minutes to successfully decipher the code to let us out, and everything in the room seemed to be a clue. For the record, there are lots of safety precautions and you can leave the room if you need to. So if you get a little claustrophobic or maybe need the bathroom, don't panic.
Our room was spy themed, and we had to complete a mission to prove ourselves. There are cameras in the room, and if you are struggling, clues will be put on the TV in the room to help a little; without taking away the fun of it.
I honestly had such an awesome experience! I took Gary along with me, OBV, as well as Sarah and Holly; and we had a right laugh! Thanks so much to Breakout Liverpool for a fab evening!

Other random things-
- I've been loving experimenting with makeup, yay! I'm definitely gonna do some more makeup looks on here, it's an awesome challenge. I'm your average, everyday, not so skilled girl with makeup, but a fierce love for it anyway. So hopefully you'll enjoy it haha.
- Youtube has been so much fun! I'm still a bit hopeless, but I'm getting there. Working on the basics for now; filming, sound, confidence. Then soon I promise I'll do more adventurous videos and get really creative. But it's been so lovely to try something new!
- The kindness of strangers never fails to make me emotional. A special thanks to Sharon, Katie and Tori this week. Each showed me fierce kindness and went out of their way to support me, and I am so, so grateful! Thanks girls.

And finally, I thought I'd share some little snippets of the designs I've been doing for people lately :)

I hope you guys had a wonderful month, and I look forward to seeing how August turns out! YAY!
Sending out lots of love, luck, and happy things xx
