Beauty lovers, answer me this; Can you ever have enough brushes? If you answered 'yes', well then I just can't relate to you, you're a much better person than me (probably) haha. I'm forever on the hunt for more beauties to try. I have so many, ranging from Zoeva, Real Techniques, MAC right down to bargain Ebay finds. And now, I've added to that collection with the So Eco brushes* from MakeupBrushes.co.uk.

I couldn't resist trying out a new brand, and also popping a trusty Real Techniques Triangle Foundation brush in there too, which I'd been meaning to add to my stash.

So Eco are a fairly new brand, and their brushes are eco friendly AND cruelty free which is amazing. All their brushes, kits and even packaging are from eco friendly sources. For the past three weeks I've been using the five piece eye brush kit which contains a concealer brush, eye shading brush, angled eyeliner, mascara comb and a lash & brow comb. I also added the Face Duo brush too, as I wanted something for use with concealer/foundation blending all over the face.

After using these brushes regularly, I feel like I've come to know what works best for me, and what I really liked most. My favourite of all was the angled eyeliner brush. As someone who has never been able to use gel eyeliner/brush combo, I thought I would struggle. However this brush is so precise I was able to get the perfect line and flick, and the bristles were soft enough that it didn't feel harsh while trying to press down to get the perfect line. YAY.

The eye shading brush was amazing at blending out a smokey eye look, and the face duo brush was perfect; especially for using concealer around my nose, which is a problem area for me. I probably didn't need the mascara comb in the set, as I can't see myself using it much. However, with the five piece set being only £12.50 (!!) the whole thing was a bargain overall anyway.

I found myself absolutely loving the triangle foundation brush from Real Tehcniques too, as I knew I would. This shape is much more ideal for applying foundation around my eyes and nose, and the quality is just wonderful. Plus who can resist the bold metals collection?!

I also found myself really impressed with the MakeupBrushes website as a whole, as their service was impeccable. The range of brands was great, they do free delivery and my brushes arrived within a few short days! Well worth a visit. If you fancy finding them on Instagram or Twitter too, search @mub_uk.
