Last week Zoella's new beauty range; Sweet Inspirations hit Superdrug stores, and I for one couldn't help but be totally attracted to its adorable pastel packaging - it's so ME. The range consists of eight products, including Double Creme moisturiser, Bath Latte bath and shower milk, and the Sugar Dip bath salts; as shown above.
I put in a little Superdrug order recently, and decided to add these three products to my basket to give them a try.
The first thing we have to talk about is the scent. This range is based on a sweet macaron theme, and even the packaging represents that with it's pretty patisserie theme. The scent is a winner for me, as it's super girly and sweet, but subtle enough that I'm not about to get sick from it! Yay. I love anything sweet/candy smelling and I definitely got hints of vanilla/almond in there too, yummy.
The bath salts from 'Sugar Dip' look and smell incredible, I popped some into a hot bath under the running water and they fizzed right in. When it was time for me to get in my bath they had dissolved away, and left the water smelling beautiful and left me feeling like I'd bathed in prettiness, if that's possible. I'm not the hugest fan of bath salts, but I was happy I gave these a try as they made everything smell wonderful!
Next up I tried the Bath Latte; and I tried this another day so that I could give it an honest review as a stand alone product rather than used with the salts. I found it AMAZING, this was definitely a product I'd buy again. I poured a little into the bath while running, and it left my bath frothy, bubbly and OH SO GORGEOUSLY SCENTED. I also popped some on a body puff while bathing and cleansed all my skin in this glorious, milky gem. It left my skin feeling cleaner, smoother and smelling good enough to eat. Seriously, you want this.
And finally my favourite product of the bunch; Double Creme body moisturiser. Easily something I'm going to buy again and again. I do love to stock up on skincare, and this is definitely going into my 'favourites basket'. The formula smells sweet and flattering, it soaks into the skin quickly and left me feeling like I'm basically the softest skinned princess around.
In fact, that's a good way to describe this range really. It's all very 'princessy'. Not to be confused with being childish though. This is an all out, royally awesome range that I'd happily buy again.
Definitely the best of all her products and ranges so far.
