"Flounder, Don't be such a Guppy"

As I previously mentioned in the last Tsum Tsum post, I'll be updating you guys every two or three weeks on my ever growing collection of Tsums. And since it's been exactly two weeks to the day, and I've added some more little cuties; I thought you guys might like to see!

As you'll have gathered by now, I've added 4 more characters; Flounder, King Triton, Sadness and Joy. I'm SO excited at having more from The Little Mermaid, as it's my favourite Disney film ever. King Triton is AMAZING, don'tcha think?!

I'm also really happy at having Sadness and Joy from the new Pixar movie 'Inside Out'. If you haven't seen it yet, I thoroughly recommend you do! It's one of the best Pixar's to come out for years in my opinion. Sadness is especially adorable, and you can't help but love her and joy as clashing characters.

I currently have ten Tsum Tsums so far, and I'm loving how my collection is growing. The only problem is; I need to find the perfect storage for them now. Maybe a cute shelving display?

Let me know where you keep yout Tsums if you also collect them!

Lots of love,

Jem & Luna Get Some Mail!

Have I told you guys yet that 2015 has been extremely lucky for me so far? Well it has! My recent burst of luck happened through Instagram, where I was lucky enough to enter Dizzy Miss James recent give-away for some of her amazing handcrafted designs, and I won! I was so, so shocked and pleased, especially as I'd been eyeing up her products for a while over on Cheekyboo

Needless to say when the package arrived I was thrilled, but Luna came to investigate too. She was absolutely excited at ripping open of packages and new items being revealed! I couldn't help but photograph her cute little bum as she took a look around.

Dizzy Miss James has some absolutely amazing products available! I received a magical unicorn tote bag, the best panda cushion cover, a flamingo pocket mirror (SO CUTE!) and the sweetest card. I've especially loved the cushion as it's so adorable, and my new bag has been so useful for work!

Take a peep through the wonderful world of Dizzy Miss James and let me know what you think.
Luna and I are huge fans! :)

Have a great day lovelies!

Blogger Evening With Kitti

Liverpool

Drinks. Food. Bloggers. Laughter. Basically the perfect evening.

This happened a few weeks ago when the lovely guys over at Talented Talkers were looking for a group of Bloggers to arrange a group meet up, using the Kitti App. I jumped at the chance to catch up with some of my North West gals, and we took on the challenge!

Myself, Laura, Holly, Sarah, Katy, and Emma all decided to go out for a meal and drinks at The Smugglers Cove in Liverpool, on a beautiful sunny evening. We arranged everything beforehand using the Kitti app and it made everything SO easy.

Let me break it down for ya; Basically you download the app, invite the people you want added to your group from your phone's contact list, and then you can each add money to the 'kitti' by just making a deposit using your bank details. This is powered by Santander and absolutely secure, not to mention easy peasy. This way you get to save up for a group activity and see how much you've all added in, as well as watching your funds grow. Perfect for nights out, events, holidays, group gifts or anything really! Each time you want to deposit money, it only costs around 30p which is nothing really, and I found this way of saving so much more effective than keeping it on my own bank where I'm tempted to spend it!

You also get a card sent out once you sign up to the app, and once you've all collected the amount you want; you can transfer the funds to the card, and use it like any normal bank card! It's THAT easy. I already know Gary and I will be using the Kitti app to save for our trip to Disney Paris!

As well as experiencing an awesome new app, we got to have the best night together and really catch up. It was also my first time meeting Sarah, which was so lovely! I feel like I've found a great group of new friends and I can't wait to hang out with them again :) Even if they do tell me I'm a drunk!... Pshh. Just because they can't handle how awesome I am ;)

Here are some extra photos.. because everyone loves to nose at blog meet up snaps.

Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter

Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter

One of the greatest things about going to cool toned hair again is that I can confidently wear plum/red shades on my lips again. I'm not saying you can't otherwise, obviously. But I dunno, I just kina felt when I had pink hair that these shades clashed horribly with me, so I avoided them a little. Now that I've opted for blue/purple hair, I'm saying 'hurrah!' and embracing all the red, violet, plum shades you can imagine.

I've started by trying out the Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in 'Perfect Plum', and boy oh boy; it's a goodun let me tell ya.

They certainly hit the nail on the head naming this product 'butter', as it applies like the softest, creamiest little piece of heaven. The colour is phenomenal, and really POPS with a bang, much to my joy. I found it really moisturised my lips, it smells amazing and lasts quite a few hours before a touch up is needed.

I have to be honest, I have been a true Clinique Chubby stick fan for a while; but I think this bad boy has just overtaken and become my new fave. Especially as it's only £2.99! Wow.

Have you tried Collection's range of lip butters yet?

Totoro Takeover

Totoro

I didn't discover Studio Ghibli films until I was around 19, but once I did I was hooked. It was like, Oh my lord where have you been hiding? But of course they hadn't been hiding anywhere, I was just terribly oblivious. Anyway throughout every one I've watched, My Neighbour Totoro has always remained my favourite. Maybe because it was one of the first I seen and it stayed with me. But probably just because I find it to be the cutest film of all the Ghibli's (that I've seen anyway).

Since then I've loved collecting anything even remotely Totoro related, so when Vicki showed off her adorable Totoro pencil pot, I knew I had to have it. She opened my eyes to Ebay scouring for Totoro goodies, and I managed to also find this cute Totoro coin purse!

Totoro

I can't tell you the exact sellers, but I will tell you they were easy to find and they both came from China for super cheap. The pencil pot was less than £3 and the coin purse was around £2 - wow.

I can't wait to see what else I can find!

Do you guys like Studio Ghibli films? :)

10 Beauty Confessions

I'm writing this so you can all feel better about yourselves, and totally superior to me.
You're welcome.
mac lipstick beauty
1. I only wash my brushes like every two weeks, sometimes three. I know, I'm disgusting.

2. I go to bed with my makeup on at least twice a week.

3. I use face wipes. I KNOW. But it's easier to use a wipe quickly first, then use a proper makeup remove and cleanser. It feels even cleaner...

4. I only tidy my makeup area/bag if I need photographs.

5. I have no patience for my nails, even though I love having them painted. So I just slap the polish on and have smudges everywhere. Oh well.

6. I only use lip liner every once in a blue moon.

7. I just don't really care about mascara. I buy whatever one appeals to me at the moment, and where it because I have to. But my eyelashes are boring and short and nothing ever changes that.

8. I bite my nails often. No perfect nails around here..

9. As you all know, I love to change my hair. But this means I bleach it often and I ruin my hair regularly. But I'm addicted, oh dear.

10. I'm crap at blending eyeshadows, which is a real shame as I have hooded eyelids and boy I could really do with some skills in that area.

Now, you guys; Confess!

Visiting Cass Art Liverpool

Cass Art Liverpool

Cass Art Liverpool

Everyone has those little shop versions of nook and crannies; those places you feel most at home, where you can happily get lost for hours. Yours may be browsing book stores, H&M music section (reminiscing of times before itunes and such) or the latest Topshop sales. For me, it's art stores. Most recently, the lovely Cass Art in Liverpool.

Maybe you caught my post about the wonderful Cass Art package I recently received; well after that, I couldn't resist popping in store to see what else they had to offer me. I was absolutely thrilled to see that their store was SO much bigger than I expected! It's located at 18 School Lane Liverpool (next to the Bluecoat if you're local!) and from the outside it looks like an adorable, but small place. Well appearances certainly can be misleading, as the store goes right back and has a huge selection of every art supply you can think of, plus extra goodies you wouldn't think of!

The best thing about Cass Art, and the reason I wanted to feature them on my blog, is because of their genuine, total passion and enthusiasm for creativity. One of their biggest missions is to 'Fill this town with artists!' and make good quality materials and supplies available to everyone, at a low price. This is something I myself am SO GOD DAMN PASSIONATE about. One of my dreams with this blog is to inspire you guys to be creative, in whatever way that may mean. Too many people don't consider themselves creative people, and don't allow themselves to experiment with art; which really saddens me. I genuinely believe there is a creative outlet for everyone whatever their preference, and it could help them so much.

I only wish I'd had Cass Art on my doorstep when I was at college studying Art and Design; that would have saved me so much money! I could have gotten even more drunk on student nights!.. Ahh well. They're right on my doorstep now, with the Liverpool store being in the heart of Liverpool. I now use this store for when I need super amazing quality supplies for my design work, or when I just want to delve into the fun aspects of their stock. Like this amazing pack of Watercolour Postcards that I couldn't help but pick up. You can create pretty little watercolour paintings, then post 'em off to friends, family, whoever! Eep. This thrilled me far more than it probably should. You should all expect a project about this from me very soon...

I love sharing a selection of my favourite places with you guys! I hope you'll take a browse through the Cass Art website to find something that gets your creative juices flowing. Or even better, come and visit our Liverpool store; because it's pretty beautiful.

Let's fill this town with artists!
