Beauty: New Additions To My Collection

I think it's about time I give a little update on my newest beauty additions; and I think I'm going to indulge in this sort of post each month! Yay. I mean, I'm trying to cut down on the amount of products I have in all my collection, but admittedly that does seem impossible. There are always new things to try and things which tempt me quicker than you can say CHECKOUT, haha. But what better excuse for a blog post?!

The past month I've been trying out the Pure Skincare range*, which has been awesome. Is it just me who gets SUPER excited about trying out a whole new range of products? I love testing them all out together, separately and in depth; to really see how they work and get to know them a little more. Can we count this as a hobby? I'm counting it as a hobby...

From left to right we have;

PURE Regenerate & Boost Eye Serum,
PURE Hydrate & Renew Face Oil,
PURE Regulate & Clear Face Oil,
PURE Clean & Glow Cleansing Oil,
PURE Refresh & Revive Face Spritz.

Manuka Doctor Skincare

I'm in my late twenties now, and nearing thirty terrifies me. Skincare is SO important to me, as I'm trying my best to avoid crows feet and smile lines as much as possible. However I'm a happy sort of person, so not smiling or moving my face isn't an option ;) So getting some great skincare products is a must!

I was recently asked by Manuka Doctor if I'd like to give their products a try, and I was intrigued. They use Manuka oil and honey in a range of products, which is supposed to have a huge range of benefits. I haven't used anything like this before, so I did a bit of research (okay I Googled it...) to see what sort of thing I could expect. Apparently Manuka oil has relaxing properties to help with anxiety, stress, depression, and Manuka honey can help with the appearance of fine lines, nourishing the skin and brightening. All sounds good eh? So I decided to give it a go.

Korean Skincare

klairs cream

The past few weeks I've had the pleasure of trying out a new skincare brand, Klairs from Koja Beauty; a korean skincare brand. You probably all know by now, I'm always collecting more and more skincare. I just can't seem to stop myself, I love it! The feeling of beautiful creams, potions and masks that brighten, moisturise and help clear my skin is something I never take for granted. For those days when you want skin confidence, when you don't want to wear makeup, but you still want to feel beautiful. I'm always chasing that feeling.

So I was really keen to give Klairs products a go, to see if I could capture that feeling once again with this brand. The first product I tried properly was the Rich Soothing Cream*. I added it to my skincare basket I keep in my bathroom, ready for after each shower. Once my skin was washed and thoroughly cleared of makeup, I would apply this gently all over my face in quick, circular movements. The texture is light and soft, soaking into my skin instantly without feeling oily. It has a luxurious affect, leaving my skin feeling nourished and soothed. At first I thought this cream would be too rich for day wear, and kept it only for before bed. But I soon found the lightweight texture was easily acceptable for daytime, and I've found myself applying this before my makeup each day. It leaves me feeling soft and rather lovely. To be honest, the only sort of downside is the very subtle scent it has when applying. I'd describe it as almost 'medicinal' if that makes sense? But this scent is SO subtle, it didn't bother me, and it disappears completely once soaked into the skin anyway. So I'm extremely happy with this product.

Scrub-a-dub-dub!

face and body scrubs

Sometimes I'll get in the shower, armed with a bunch of skincare products; determined to scrub my whole body like hell. I'll go to town on myself from head to toe (sounds weird) and do all I can to come out that shower like a damn newborn baby. If fact, I'm disappointed if I don't feel like a snake that's just shed a layer of skin.

Sorry, gross. But anyway, I mix and match a lot of face and body scrubs, and I'm always willing to try out new ones to try get the best possible results I can. Today I thought I'd share with you guys what I'm currently using.

New Beauty Products: Jurlique

Bonjour you gorgeous folk! I hope the week has been treating you kindly so far, and you're full of positive vibes and all that. It's been a SUPER busy one for me, with an extra workload and my partner's family visiting; so I haven't blogged as much as usual admittedly.

Today though I wanted to jump right back in with some beauty products I've been raving about lately to anyone who will listen! The Daily Exfoliating Cream and Hydra Gloss products from Jurlique have been on my radar for a few weeks now. You may remember last month I posted about my favourite Jurlique products (the Rosewater Balancing Mist and Rose Hand Cream) and how much they had helped my skin. Well since then I've been trying out the exfoliating cream and glosses, and can confirm I love them just as much!
