6 Things I NEED In My Home*

I always seem to have an endless wishlist of things I want for our home, and there are definitely things which are more important than others. By more important I simply mean I WANT them so badly I fawn over these things regularly.

Even though I consider myself a very colourful person, I always seem to be drawn to white, clean products and hints of copper for homeware. It's something about the clean, stylish look which draws me in and makes me want to be a grown up, haha.

The six biggest things on my wishlist right now are (L to R, T to B);

1. The beautiful birdcages shown above, from Joy The Store. I don't even know why. But look at them! Beautiful.

Adding A Little Character

As our new home comes together more each day, I'm noticing how sometimes the little things can make all the difference. Sure the appliances and sofas and whatnot make a huuuge difference (especially when there's no sofa to park on after a long day!), but often enough it's the small plants, pretty lights, or unique prints which give life to a room. With this in mind I took another trip to Nook & Cranny recently, as I so often do.

Now the Bill Murray print is not from Nook & Cranny, Gary and I found this last year in a little craft fair and instantly fell in love. Who doesn't want Bill Murray on their wall?! But the rest are all from N&C this past week. I love the cat cards so much that we bought them so we could frame or display them in some way on the walls. Maybe a collage if we find more cat themed prints we love.. What do you guys think?

I must say the only heartbreaking thing is I really wanted to pick up a Zelda themed print I seen in store, but we couldn't get that too, so we chose the wolf print shown above. And let's be honest he really is snazzy.
I just kind of wanted to share these with you guys because I love finding such beautiful little treasures, and I love when you guys recommend even more places for me to find some! I'll be giving these prints pride of place soon, and I'm sure I'll find more too.

Homeware Wishlist

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone really who reads my blog or knows me, that I've been lusting after all sorts of homeware things to fill up my new place with. And so of course I'm including a little Homeware Wishlist on here to show you guys what products I'm LOVING.
Each image is linked to the product website if you're interested in knowing where you can get it yourself. Be warned though, that beautiful chair is very pricey. I have a feeling that one will never make it off my wishlist haha.
I thoroughly recommend you guys check out Nook and Cranny, a favourite Liverpool store of mine. Four of those products above are provided by N&C and they have such a wide selection of unique products for everyone. I actually did pick up a few bits from there myself last week, and I'm sure I'll be showing these off at some point. Look out for that!
