Autumn Makeup With A Twist

I love lots of colour, and no matter what look I'm going for, I always like to make it vibrant if possible. So with Autumn now here, I've been looking for ways to alter my everyday makeup look a little.

I wanted something fun and unique, but leaning towards the Autumn hues and not necessarily sticking to the nude/brown shades. I wanted some hints of purple and gold too, as they're faves of mine and I thought they seemed appropriate for the season.

As you all probably know; Autumn is my favourite season, and I'm super excited to embrace this time of year with open arms. I started embracing it from September first actually, even though technically it's not Autumn until the 22nd. But who cares, eh?

Today I thought I'd share with you guys some of the ways I've been embracing that Autumn feeling, and how you can get into the seasonal spirit yourself. I hope you enjoy!

8 Way to feel Autumnal-

1. Plan out your key Autumn outfits - buy some cute scarves, the perfect rainy day coat, and a bunch of jumpers/cardigans!

2. Start a seasonal scrapbook! Try to take photos often to highlight the most 'Autumnal' moments; rain hitting the windows, the fire burning, fireworks in the sky, leaves on the ground, and whatever else you can think of!

It's September first!! YAY! I make no apologies for saying I am celebrating Autumn right this moment and I am extremely happy about going into September, officially getting closer to cold dark days, rain, fairy lights, fireworks and candy apples. This is my most favourite time of year, I am THRILLED.

Makeup Revolution Give Them Nightmares Palette

If Wednesday Addams had grown up and gotten into makeup; I feel like this would have been her palette of choice. It's the Makeup Revolution 'Give Them Nightmares' palette, and it's my new favourite thing in my makeup collection. I'm pretty sure this palette has been out a while, and I just missed the boat with this one. However when I was browsing Superdrug a few weeks ago, I spotted this baby on offer for only £4 and I lost my shit. Maybe I'm exaggerating? But either way, I got excited. I love Makeup Revolution anyway, but their palettes are always especially amazing. This one is absolutely perfect for Autumn/Winter, and screams goth. Perfect for my latest hair eh?
