Go-To Accessories

I have a soft spot for accessories. They can make or break an outfit, and they can add a little magic to anything you're wearing. My weakness is for bags especially; I collect them like I do stickers. I want big, 'hold everything you'll ever need on this trip' sorta bags, I like cute, diddy little clutches, I like colourful ones that scream at you, I love strange textures, styles and I like an assortment of lengths.

I'd say I'm the same with shoes, but it's a little different. I still have a weakness for them and you better believe my collection is taking over the place; however I'm slightly fussy with one thing. COMFORT. I just cannot and will not give up comfort for style. I've done that in the past. For years I bought the beautiful heels that made me bleed and ruined nights out. I've bought the 'one of a kind' wedges that go with every outfit and claim to be a comfier alternative to heels (fucking liars), only to be left with red feet and blisters.

So I've given up, I simply don't tolerate it anymore. I'm going to be comfortable no matter what now. I threw out all my heels except for ONE pair last year, and I haven't regretted it since. This one, black pair are there for any situation where I feel I need heels, and they are slightly more comfortable than ones I've had in the past. However, even in the past year and half; I still haven't wore them. I honestly think I'll be wearing flats to my own wedding.

Anyway, since I've given up on anything that is uncomfortable, I've found joy in growing my collection of awesome shoes that I can wear all day long without complaint.

So you can imagine my squeals of joy when the lovely folk over at JD Williams kindly sent me a pair of Heavenly Soles ankle boots*, that are SO COMFORTABLE. I worried my flat, chunky feet would find them painful, tight, or they simply rubbed the wrong way. But I needn't have worried; they're absolutely amazing! A little tiny chunk of a heel, so they feel slightly dressier than your average, and comfort from the moment you step in them. Trust me, I have been testing these bad boys. Whether it be walking around town shopping all day or tip-tapping my way through a crowded bar of an evening; these bad boys keep me feeling good. I'm so thrilled with them! They were a bargain price of £45 too, which is a relief because I'd happily buy a bunch to last me years.

I've found I especially love teaming these boots with dresses, but they look awesome with jeans too.
A huge thank you to JD Williams for providing me with a quality pair of gorgeous boots I'll be treasuring for a long time!

You can also find my gorgeous bag over at Yoshi if you're interested :) They haven't asked me to post anything, by the way. But I bloomin' love this bag and thought I'd like to share it with you guys (it also goes perfect with my new boots!).

Any of you guys with me on the comfort thing? Or are you happy to sacrifice your feet for a gorgeous style? :) Let me know!
